Created the visual identity and packaging for Genie’s line of Garage Door Openers.
The Challenge
To reevaluated and help build their brand presence at all major home improvements retailers such as: The Home Depot, Lowes and Menards.
The copy was distilled into three main callouts: the type of unit, features, and accessories. Simple iconography was implemented and overhead photography to help consumers quickly compare units.

Created concepts for The Home Depot bay planograms and point-of-purchase signage.
The design focused on simplifying the overall packaging and messaging. The original, mis-matched color palette was switched out for a black-and-white gray scale, accented by red – a color that rivaled their direct competitors while reinvigorating the true essence of The Genie Company.
